in the 1860’s, The Inn at Spences Bridge (formerly The Garuda Inn, the Steelhead Inn, the Spences Bridge Hotel
and the Hermitage Hotel) was built as a relaxing stopover for weary travellers. Continuing the tradition, The Inn offers 12
renovated and uniquely decorated guest rooms. All rooms are one of a kind and decorated to enhance the quality of your stay.
Many have private baths, spectacular views of the river, the valley and the railways, and two have private balconies. All
are surprisingly affordable and rates include a continental breakfast featuring our homemade muffins and seasonal fruit. Weekly
